| Last Update May 2011 Availability of trees in Europe this year is estimated to be similar or slightly down (particularly on Nordmann above 2 metres) on last year’s supply. The forecasted increase in Nordmann production throughout Europe is unlikely to materialise before 2014. Availability may also be affected by the severe winter conditions experienced in many plantations throughout Europe. This in addition to the significantly higher oil prices is likely to result in price increases again in 2011. |
